At Canadian Foodgrains Bank, our vision is a world without hunger.

Each year, Canadians across the country come together to help us realize our vision. Churches, communities, businesses and individuals all support the Foodgrains Bank, donating time and money to help us work toward a world without hunger. We are constantly humbled at the compassion and generosity of Canadians who are so willing to help those who are hungry overseas.

Much of our support comes from growing projects—where Canadian farmers and farm supporters, often with the help of a local church, come together to plant, tend, and harvest a crop. Once harvested, farmers sell the crop and donate the proceeds to our efforts to help families who are experiencing hunger. In Ontario alone, there are more than 100 growing projects.

During the #12days4good campaign, we will be highlighting and thanking such volunteers who are working toward a world without hunger In addition, our staff will be out doing good deeds in their local communities in Ontario and across Canada.
